No Christ did not die for the chicken sandwich I had for lunch.
He did not eat things that had eternal souls.
God created man in his image above the animals with an eternal spirit.
Edit to kitty wink the millennium is not heaven it is Christ rule of this earth,.

Well, there are many out there especially Christians who believe that animals are beneath them, that they have no souls and look forward to nothing outside of this life.
If we look at the book of Genesis - in the Hebrew version it talks about G-d creating animals with a soul. Granted, this is considered the base level of a soul but it is still a soul.
If we flash forward a few chapters to Noah we can look to the covenant G-d made for more answers.
G-d tells Noah that it is not only man that must give an accounting for his life - but all animals must too. Now why would G-d command such a thing if all the little animals have no souls and merely turn to dust at death? It begs a different answer - that G-d created them with a living soul.
Also look at the covenant that G-d made with Noah. It's not just between G-d and mankind. G-d says it is also between all living creatures. Why would G-d create this covenant if animals had no soul, had no awareness of G-d?
If we look at some spots throughout the bible, such as in Job, we find G-d speaking about animals in an intimate way. Baby birds are said to cry out to G-d Himself when they are hungry. We see ox that are guided by the hand of G-d on the road while they bring the covenant back. Both of these suggest that animals can have an awareness of G-d.
We also see in the New Testament when Jesus is speaking about the value of a person. He mentions that G-d mourns the falling of the tiny sparrow. What kind of G-d would mourn a creation that couldn't recognize him, interact with him, think, rationalize or have no soul?
All of this suggests that animals may very well have their own place and be part of a different plan that we are simply not aware of. G-d would not leave them all to simply turn back to dust after creating them by hand.
Animals have personalities like humans and reason. They figure out things that are not based on their instincts alone. My cat can open cabinets, learned to operate door knobs and knows how to turn the sink on when she wants water. All of these things are beyond her genes - they are not preprogramed. She had to sit, learn and reason how to do each of things to be able to earn them. The only difference between us and them is a slightly bigger brain and perhaps a more complex soul.

No animals In heaven. Period. Heaven is not to be compared with another " Earthly" scene. Because we are told In scripture that " Flesh & Blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom- 1Cor 15: 50. Plus the resurrection hope was Never extended to Animals.

Only humans and (some) angels have sinned and only humans can be redeemed from sin. Animals neither sin nor need redemption, so yes, they go to heaven automatically, and yes you will meet Fluffy there when you get there.
If you believe that sort of thing.

I know the Bible says the lion will lie down with the lamb in Heaven. It is my prayer that my pets will be there, I'm serious, I have prayed for this.

I hope so. I'm not going to pretend I know but in case they dont I'm gonna love them while I'm here. They were created before us and I would like to think they will.

I would certainly hope so. I love animals, and I think that they have souls. So if God cares enough for the sparrow to feed it, I think that he cares enough to let it roam free in paradise.

Anyone over 12 yrs old who has received a basic education and can apply their intelligence will already have realised that ...
There is no such thing as heaven.
There is no such thing as a soul.
All gods are fictitious drivel.
Your curiosity is now satisfied?
