its one of those free pleasures in life and we arent even allowed to do this? we dont need anyone else except our selves, so is a little self satisfaction a little too much to ask for without going to hell afterwards?

Western religions tend to be pro-natalist. Reproduction is all-important. Pleasure takes people further from God. Satan uses pleasure to distract people from the important things. Now that the world is overpopulated, and that children are starving in Africa, perhaps the churches should rethink some of their dogmas. Anything that prevents the misery of hunger and poverty could potentially be a righteous act. Go ahead, have fun. You are not spreading disease, overpopulating the earth, or getting distracted from being a good person.

God doesn't judge:
John 5:22
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

You see you're only judged if you judge:
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

The only way you could not judge is to love unconditionaly.
God is love:
1st John 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Getting tired of pathing this together so....
Love God, Love humans, don't judge, forgive everyone everywhere, and you can love unconditionaly.
Love and you can do anything you want to do!
You may not want to then because your motivation will change but still.

You know, after being with my husband I have absolutely no desire to do that - even when we are seperated. The very idea seems flat and unattractive. So unintersting when I could have him instead. If only I wait just a while longer.

I used to - and now looking back I realize it had to do with both me not being patient enough and not being satisfied in the relationships I was in. I went through a dark period in my life where sex was not a stranger and yet I still had an overwhelming desire to use a vibrator. To do what these men failed to do.

Yet now I feel as though it isn't an option, and even if it was I still wouldn't want it. It's nothing compared to the satisfaction and ectasy I feel with my husband.

Just a little food for thought...

As long as you don't do it at the dinner table. It gets more appreciated the older you get, I am told. So lets not wear it out too soon!!
Jenna Jamison knows how to do it so well for the ladies that she can steal a woman away from her man, she said. lol
Nina Hartley has an instructional video that shows exactly what it takes to help the ladies to ecstasy. Mechanically speaking, of course.

It's not HIM [God] but his brand Managers who say so.It's one of the most civilized way of relieving one self. It's prevalence in the animal world indicates that it's quite a natural thing to do.To me the prohibition on it has to be a later stage ADD-ON by some die hards cranks.Accept it and feel absolutely guilt free to enjoy it.

Well, it looks like you are talking about the Judao Christian God. Most Gods could care less. Here is a bit of a warning. Beware of anyone who sais do something in the name of continuity. Here is my take on the Christians view: Is it wrong to kill a person... yes, of course. So, in the name of continuity it is only logical that it is wrong to kill a child as well.... ok That makes sence.
BUT......
Well, now that is wrong to kill a child it HAS to be wrong to kill a baby.... if we make it ok to kill babies, continuity is broken..... ok That makes sence too
BUT......
If you have to protect adults, and you have to protect children, and you have to protect babies... WHEN DO YOU START PROTECTING THOSE BABIES? Theoretically every sperm and every egg is a POTENTIAL person, which means in the name of CONTINUITY we have to offer them the same protections we offer everyone else... where do you draw the line.

Christians live in a world of RIGHT or WRONG..... BLACK or WHITE.... there is no gray. Christans have to have a line, so unfortunately for you that line is drawn just below your balls.

Sorry,

Jer

You will be hurt.

Here's a well-worded explanation:
Our Heavenly Father has counseled that sexual intimacy should be reserved for his children within the bonds of marriage. The physical relationship between a husband and a wife can be beautiful and sacred. It is ordained of God for the procreation of children and for the expression of love within a marriage: "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24).

Because sexual intimacy is so sacred, the Lord requires self-control and purity before marriage as well as full fidelity after marriage. In dating, treat your date with respect, and expect your date to show that same respect to you. Never treat your date as an object to be used for your own lustful desires or ego. Improper physical contact can cause a loss of self-control. Always stay in control of yourself and your physical feelings.

The Lord specifically forbids certain behaviors, including all sexual relations before marriage, petting, sex perversion (such as homosexuality, rape, and incest), masturbation, or preoccupation with sex in thought, speech, or action (see A Parent's Guide, pp. 36–39).

As long as God doesn't personally tell you , you can't touch what he has created for you, feel free to touch yourself. But there is a curse that comes with touching yourself to often, you feelings for other die a little, you also, over time , don''t get easily excited like a firecracker .,when with someone else. Your mind also has to search more and more for fantasies, until the brink of being a pervert. All over time.

I have to agree in so many ways. Because is it better I am a s-l-u-t or that I play with my self?
God says sin is the same, big or small, sin is sin. So rather I am a sl*ut or I only play with my self I am still sinning the same amount. So the real question is what is more acceptable to me.

I will continue to play with my self until I am comfortable being a sl*ut.

LOL.

I'm kidding, but still your question had me rolling.

Depends on which god we're talking about here... :-)

Ra is said to have created the world through an act of masturbation, so I don't think HE objects at all!
