My boyfriend and I have been arguing the past couple of days.
We had plans recently to move in together and I'm currently unemployed, but since he makes good money he offered to support me until I get on my feet. He said he had faith that I would find a job and once I did I could then contribute.
All of a sudden he has been very mean to me lately and almost talking down to me cause I didn't find a job yet. It has not been that long and I have been trying. So he decided all of a sudden that he needs to move into his own place cause hes not happy where he is. But Im not happy where I am either. I wish he was not so mean to me.
So I got very upset and told him that I know where we stand now. Every man for himself as he made it to be. And I don't need him. I am an independent woman and can get a job and then move out on my own. I thanked him cause the fact that he was so mean to me lit a fire under my butt to get my own place...and I said F*** you to him. I am so mad right now

move out on your own when you are ready to , don't rush it you will be on earth along time , maybe the being mean is his screwed up way of trying to motivate you

First off, I'd dump the boyfriend. He doesn't sound that good for you.
Do yourself an enormous favor and save yourself a huge amount of grief down the road. Do NOT move in with any man you're not married to. Not "going" to get married someday, not "thinking" about getting married...actually married.

If he is being an asshole to you, then dump him and get your own place. You don't need him, so find a guy who cares for you and move in with him...2 incomes are ALWAYS better than one. There are women that have gotten stuck with worse men, so consider yourself lucky and go find yourself a guy worth your time ^_~

Get your own place. It is too soon to be moving in with this guy. The relationship is not on solid ground right now.

OMG: FCOL. YOU NEVER MOVE IN WITH A GUY. DID YOUR GUT FEELING GO OFF OR WERE THE BUTTERFLIES HOLDING IT HOSTAGE. BE GLAD THAT HE SHOWED HIS COLORS EARLY.
