well my mother told me this story.

Yesterday,
my mom took a smoking break at work
and was sitting there for a few minutes
and the she imagined
God, rocking my grandmother in his arms like a baby
as if rocking her to sleep.
It was 810 when she saw this.
10 minutes later, tony called to tell her that grandmaw had died.. 10 minutes ago. [when she saw that]

Do you guys believe in stuff like this?

just curious to see what others think.

oh and my mum isnt a loony one.

Rae,
I believe it is entirely possible. My dad (age 76) tells us about his dad's death in the following story. When his dad was dying he made my dad promise not to leave my grandmother alone. Immediately after his death, the dog came home and stood watch at her door refusing to move from it for days. I stayed with my grandmother every weekend until she was hospitalized and died of cancer. My dad says that dog NEVER stayed at the house before that time and he is sure that his dad kept that dog in front of the door to protect her.... belive it or NOT. Have a wonderful day and a glorious week.
Thanks,
Eds

Im really soory to hear that your grandmother died. But the Bible tells us where the dead go when they die. Please if you get a chance to look it up in your own Bible.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

(Acts 24:15) and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Yeah, I believe that the dead gives signs and also that people can some times sense things like that.

Side story: My sister-in-law found out she was pregnant and a few weeks later my mom had a dream about her mother (who passed away years ago) and her mother was holding a blanket, as if a child were in it. My mom got the call the next day saying my sister-in-law had a miscarriage.

yes I believe in this. When my grandmother died in the nursing home, my mom was at home and felt herself being warmly held. Then she got the phone call about the death. Her mom had come to say goodbye with that hug.

I do believe stuff like that could happen. I think its Gods way of preparing us a little bit before it happens.

I believe that was God's way of letting your mother know that He is taking care of your grandmother. Yes, it does happen. God really does want to comfort us, we just have to let Him in.

Yeah I believe God gives some those moments of 'insight'. But if she wasn't a Christian.....................I would think again. Who was that?
