I don't know about you, but sometimes I feel like I'm swimming around in a toilet-bowl full of sh**, and that the harder I try to understand the truth about life, and the meaning of it, the more confused I become. It's like someone just keeps dumping and not bothering to flush. How about you? Do you think earth is a giant loo? How is anyone supposed to figure out the truth with so many theories and ideologies floating around in this bowl? And what kind of loving 'God' would condemn any one of us for not figuring it out?

By time the Sun swallows Earth we will longer be here either we have colonized another planet or 2 or we will be extinct. I think there are other galaxies with planers like ours yet to be discovered that can sustain life. I am sue sciecetists and NASA are working shuttle crafts that will be able to take humans out of here when the time comes but it won 't be anytime soon. Just live our lives to the fullest and don't worry about things like that. Howevertaking from a religious point of view Christ will return before then. If anybody can stop the sun from dying out It is The Lord. Then the Earth become a paradise like the Bible depicts. My cousin he gets these wierd conclusions that we are going to End up like Planet of The Apes or Jurassic Park or some other science fiction type of situation. He still things Akiens built the Pyramids and will return. He is not dumb or has mental problem. He is very bright and smart. It is just what he reads on the Internet and T.V. he believes. Not true

This is exactly why I oppose the "New Tolerance" where we give each idea an equal measure of credibility and say that truth is subjective to the individual.
There is an absolute truth, albeit beyond our ability to decipher at this time. But I believe that it is a perfectly reasonable statement to say that not one of us 6.7 billion stooges has the absolute truth. By saying that any belief is equally valid, we squelch the motivation to look for an absolute truth. This just means that it will take us that much longer to find it, which is ultimately to the deficit of the entire human race.
And I am just seeing the irony of a cat asking this question! Love ya, Meow!!!

The world is a complete toilet with many false ideas.
Satan has deliberately made it this way to obscure the true God and his purpose.
So much so that many confuse God with his son Jesus as a pagan trinity God with no name.
To work out what is true depends upon (in part) with your heart condition and motive.
For example , if you are a homosexual or a drug user , or a child molester and you think this is OK behavior , then God will not make himself known to you.
In fact the Bible says that those sort of people are completely alienated from God.
If you are a genuine God fearing person that earnestly is seeking the truth then with effort you will find it.

that particular 'loving god' is imaginary. i'm relatively certain of that.
i've narrowed down the spiritual ideas i determined to be "good ideas". you can do the same. take each concept one at a time.
as for scientific theories, they're generally accepted as facts. so, assume truth. ;)
