I have a second-hand typewriter. It works fine but the only problem I have with it is the capital letters. Instead of the bottom of the letters being aligned, the top of the capital letters align with the top of the other letters instead. There are a lot of switches on the typewriter, so I don't know if it has anything to do with turning a certain switch the right way.

My typewriter is a Brother Cassette Correct-O-Riter II.

What I meant was that the capital letters are sort of dropped, making the top of them align instead of the bottom, and it definitely isn't in italics.

It could be the style of type (font) the typewriter has. In this case, it sounds almost like the letters are in italics, which are slanted letters used to emphasize something. What is the brand name of the typewriter??
