What positive things are you feeding your heart and mind?
We all have input,
is yours confined to petting the dog and TV re-runs?
When was the last time you read the newspaper, so you were filling your mind with interesting tidbits, getting to know your town, the people, and the happenings? People who's minds have broad areas of knowledge - others find them interesting to talk to.
How often do you make it to church? Those who participate weekly sit and listen to ways of positively addressing your life, your spiritual relationship with God, and your relationships with other people. Most people find the sermons to have something "to take home with you". The community of the church is made-up of all ages and economic levels of people. It is an excellent place to find friends and positive support.
What community groups do you participate in? Sports?
Library?
How often do you get together with family?
How often do you try to learn something new or go somewhere you've never been before?

Interesting people are also people who are interested in others. Who enjoy the presence of others. Interesting people are those who take the initiative to try out their own ideas - do you like to cook? is math your thing? growing flowers or vegetables? Fixing things? Working on cars?
Painting and artwork? -- DO IT!

Be an individual, yet be yourself, learn something new, address your heart and mind and spiritual life, be friendly, and be willing to be open with others.
