I mean, I know the obvious answer; someone to love and kiss and cuddle etc etc... But, there was this guy who I used to like, and he told me that if we were going to go out, he wanted me to do things for him that were going to be a little out of my comfort zone, for example, I'm not too big on public affection, but he said he is, so that was something he wanted to do more of. He told me a relationship is about give and take. It occurred to me, that... what exactly would I be gaining out of this situation? The pleasure of his company? What? Hence, we are no longer dating. It sounds cruel, but then again, so was he. The idiot then told me he was interested in two other girls!! He was trying on the jealously thing. I could not have been more repulsed. No Deal!!!! Should I tell him all this? So he doesn't screw it up with the next girl? We're still kind of friends, though he keeps hitting on me, and I've told him I'm not interested. Sorry about the long question! Had to get it off my chest

You will find a nice guy one day that will respect your feelings too. You will enjoy his company because he does. As for your friend, you should let him know that it is ridiculous for anyone to be telling someone that they are dating that they are interested in other people also. Tell him mature people don't act that way.

I think you're happier being single.

The whole reason (or a big part of it) for getting a boyfriend is to give all your love to, but if your not prepared or uncomfortable in doing so, it might be best if you didnt get another for a while.

I wouldnt "warn" him, because what he was asking really wasn't that out of the ordinary...i.e. other girls probably wont have a problem showing public affection

you should let him know how you feel! maybe he's really just THAT stupid! let him know that you really did have feelings for him, but once you got to see his cruel side, it affected your feelings majorly..let him know that he can't treat girls like that-it's not right..its a good thing you broke it off with this guy, he sounds like an @s$!!
