What to do if a man much older than me and quite restrain?

I met a guy he's polite I like such men,but I'm 24 he's 38 actually I like the men that older than me but in some situations I don't know really now how to behave,should i text him first or he's grown up for such things and he's also very restrain, my girlfriend advices me to be more active if he's ratrain it should work out, but I don't want to disturb him.He's never been married before. What if he's just plays fool and I'm gonna be just the next in his list of the female names? Please help me. I'm kinda fed up being always alone, need to do some changes, but a bit confused about him. He's on vacation and don't know if he's gonna text me, I can't understand him.When I told him that situation seems that I've been used couple of times, he told me to don't bullshit and stop this stupid things. He sounds like a controlling person. Are you looking for a dad, because that's what you're going to get with him. The power in your "relationship" is all with him, leaving you feeling confused, wanting something but unable to ask for it. The problem is that he is too old for you and you are desperate for a relationship, not caring if it is healthy, you just want a guy. You are very young and you have lots of time to find the guy that's right for you. Don't blow that by becoming just another name on a list with this old guy - what the heck does he want with a girl who is almost young enough to be his daughter? He's using you.

He is probably a confirmed batchelor if he is still single at that age. He is not looking for anyone to get serious with. That is why he is telling you that it is BS and stupid.
