has anyone searched for God by prayer to find him and hear a voice say you do not know my name?

I asked God what his name is, he said this to me, and used the bible to back it up. Revelation 19:11-12 and acts 17:23

That might not be God who is talking to you, but then again, I might be wrong. The mind and heart can be quite deceiving. Don't get the three confused.

that is so awesome. Few people hear His audible voice, you are blessed. I have had a prayer answered with a distinct voice in my mind. I was considering changing churches due to low attendance at my church, and apathy of members. I heard quite plainly inside my mind "fight for me". The words of God to me which I understood to stay at my church and do all I can with Him leading the way.
