I met this guy recently (friend of a friend), and have spoken to him a bit online via email. I ask him questions and he responds promptly. I waited a couple days between the last messages and he still responded within 12 hours. I'm not asking very detailed questions but he answers briefly and generally positively.
Do guys just tend not to ask many questions? Is he just not interested? If so why does he respond to my emails in about 12 hours?
Any suggestions for finding out if he is interested or trying to get the conversation rolling more? I asked him to get together last week and he said he was busy but maybe next week (this week).

Say "so I feel like I've been asking all the questions ... tell me more about yourself" ... or "is there anything you'd like to ask me?" If he says there's nothing he'd like to ask you ... i'd say it's safe that he's not interested in a romantic way.

Some guys hate to play the question and answer game. They would rather get to know you in person. He does not sound too interested since he put you off, but it could be due to previous plans. Just ask him again. If he says no again, discontinue conversation with him and see what happens.

im the same way when it comes to questions and im a girl it has nothing to do with the male or female thing. he might not be good at conversations like me and he might be busy which is why he cant meet up with you and why he doesnt respond within 12 hours. you could always ask him if talking to you bothers him because i ask guys that and they answer me.

hmmm.. to be honest with you..what i think is maybe he is not interested. dont waste you time to him.. and you asked him first and he said later this week (this week).. i know most of the guys tends to ask more question if he likes someone.. or maybe he is just being nice answering your email.. dont waste your time girl.. there are alot of boys that is more than him. you dont need to search for the right 1.. but instead be prepared for the right guy. Most guys are of few words. It sounds like he is not really interested or at some point he would email first..

ok here is the thing dont ask so much because you well get anoying you dont want that and when you ask ask the correct aproch something that is letting him know was up break the ice and if it goes well you well get your awnser but if you dont you well get hold back from knowing and dont get your hopes up just because he replys that dont mean anything sometimes they do it because they dont want to b messt up and sometimes they do want to know was up but there shy but hey anything cant happend right!. simple tip go 4 it 100% if he says no then fine move on you got nothing to lose.

Asking simple questions gets you simple answers. Guys don't like getting interviewed...just like women don't like getting interviewed. Maybe you could get advice from that friend who introduced you to him and find out what he enjoys...ask questions about hobbies and fake an interest in them. haha

sounds to me like he has someone else on the side and isnt ready to see you on a fulltime basics..If he were truly interested he wouldnt put up the barrier . Doesnt sound like he is interested to me. If he were he would be beatin your door down. Just my opin.. but drop him like a HOT potato.

well... i always ask questions with girls im interested in so they dont get bored. but they respond and of course ask back. dont go for this guy if evrythings a oneway conversation. you want someone who will listen to you.

he sounds like 1) a busy guy 2) not much into email - doesn't check it constantly 3) not that into you
sorry, i don't mean to sound unkind. i like guys that like me, are interested in me and pursue me - at least as much as i pursue them.
