The concept of name itself came way down the line, after creatures of God were made, after man was made and after languages were made. A child does not need the ablity to speak before he can communicate with his mom about his needs and she watches over him through the many other means of communication through sounds, vision and smells.
Any name associated with the Holy One becomes sanctified. Any name tied to Him, the Glorious One becomes Holy, just like a permanent magnet makes all ferrous materials that touch it magnetized.
When the Lord at different times called people to use a certain name for Himself, that name indeed takes on a very special significance. But the purpose of that significance is not to diminish others who call on the Universal father-mother of all creatures.
If you have several siblings and the oldest one knows the real name of your mom (which is extraneous to her anyway and was given to her at some point in her life, and is really not a part of her essence), whereas the two year old knows to make sounds to get mom's attention which may change from day to day.
This does not really change the relationship of the mom and the child, only the means of communications change.
Similarly the relationship between man and god is ever fluid whether it is in a personal one to one basis or in groups. The Mighty One knows the needs and levels of all of us. We are all without exceptions at various levels of discovery of His Nature. What we call on Him sAlmighty, it is really based on our personal relationship with Him.
The names He has asked us to call Him are a cut above those we have selected ourselves through various levels of evolution. But can anyone argue that just because Abraham did not know the revealed name, his relationship with the Almighty was lacking? whereas the relationship of any common Jewish person who learnt the name of the Lord simply because he was born after Moses was revealed the name. Does that make such an average Jewish person more than Abraham who was perhaps not privy to the name of the Almighty or if he was, he did not see the need to reveal it. I hope some of this line of thinking is making sense.
But, to fight about the name is childish. No one can argue that the revealed name is indeed Holy. If I ask you to call me a certain name, it would be good to use that name. However, if my child calls me with an endearment, which makes me special to him, I have no objection to that either. My child used to call me dada, daddu and finally daddy. I always knew it was me that was being called those names. The child eventually knew my real name, but continues to call me with the endearment that I am known by since babyhood.
To argue about calling mom mother, mommy or mama is silly.
The Lord Almighty in my reckoning can be called by the Holy Name given to Israel or to Muslims. But he listens when he is called from all those who call upon him in their own way.
May the Lord correct me if I am wrong and may he keep us firm if we are right. Amen.

God is God? to me, yea, a name "defines" someone in a way, but isn't just a reference so that no one has to go "Hey you" and have the whole world say, "yea?"
anyway...jesus and god and the holy spirit are one...so maybe jesus?

Probably just the credit card companies he has accounts with. He should be careful - not even God is safe from identity theft!
