by this I mean if they die before they are born(you know still in the womb) or if they are born but die before they are babtised. Ive been told that the whole point of being babtised is to be relieved of the original sin. but then isnt that unfair? that they're going to hell cause that dumb B!TC# Eve ate that apple among other things...?

No babies or children that have not been baptized do not go to hell! They have not reached age of accountability. God is a just God, he would never do that. You have probably been talking to some catholics. We do water baptism to follow Jesus example and it represents many things. New birth, cleansing, commitment. Jesus was not baptized as an infant, he was 32 years old. We do not have to baptize our new born babies. Baptism should be a decision made by them.

and yes, eve probably did eat of adams fruit also, but they were husband and wife so its ok. Read song of solomon. You will learn that God wants us to enjoy sex as long as it is in the confines of marriage. : D

You need to get a proper understanding of the way the word hell is used in the English language.
The word hell was translated from the original Greek word Had's, The meaning of
Had's is simply a hole or pit with no rendering of fire, burning, or purgatory.
The word Had's was translated from the
Hebrew word Sheo'l which means grave, pit, hole or the place that all living thing go after they die " to the dust." also with no redering to fire, torment, burnig purgatory or punishment.

The mis-use of the word hell got it's start around 1610 when the King James version of the Bible was translated into english.
The chuches at the time was teaching fire and brime stone and a firey place that you would be tormented inorder to scare the people so they wounld't leave the chuch

So hell is simply the grave of mankind and all the peachers know it but won''t teach it affraid they would lose all there sheep.

I can send you some information on this subject if you would like.

Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

Not being baptised will not send you to "hell". Baptism is a ritual performed after sacrificing your life to God. After you are forgiven of your sins, you are a "new person" a new soul. A soul that should be cleansed.

When someone is baptised, their sins are "washed away". It is like standing in the shower washing off a hard day at work to revitalize. Wash off impurities. You "wash" your soul clean of sin and vow to keep on the right path.

It is not a requirement for salvation and baptism alone will not save you.

maximum Christians have the age of accountability. greater effective, many even have faith which you're born with a universal theory in God. yet for exciting, enable's turn this around. Do you think of the youngsters are going to the comparable worse-than-hell nonexistence that Hitler did? Joel, that question has already been asked many cases. The reaction is the two: a million.) in case you improve your toddler by ability of biblical recommendations, the youngster will at last return to Christ, as "promised" in the Bible 2.) in the experience that your toddler accepts Jesus, then they are going to consistently be in the e book of existence.

No babies do not go to hell. Stop putting all the blame on Eve. Adam had a choice. He could have said No.

There is no automatic after-life. The dead only live again after resurrection, and that isn't until after Armageddon. Anyway, there is no torture for anyone who dies, not even the most willful & evil of God's adversaries. So, babies --everyone else who dies-- simply live on in God's memory, the majority of whom will be resurrected into a restored paradise.

Death is the total cessation of life.
The source of one's energy becomes completely cut off.
There is no consciousness, no feeling, no thinking.
Please read Ecclesiastes 9:10... http://watchtower.org/bible/ec/chapter_009.htm?bk=ec;chp=9;vs=10;citation#bk10

Baptism is not for those who are not capable of understanding what is going on, like babies. It is something that an appropriately educated individual chooses to do voluntarily, both to symbolize that they accept that they need God's forgiveness, and that they choose to spend the rest of their life following his principles, & doing the work that he outlines for that time for his followers. Babies & young children are not capable of the depth of understanding required to make such decisions. Christ himself --although a perfect man-- did not get baptised until he was 30 years old. (That is when the brain of a normal healthy individual completes its growth.) Of course, his baptism had nothing to do with repenting of sins, as he had none. At that time, he was the exact physical equivalent of Adam when he sinned--a full-grown man.

Well the Church's position until recently was that babies go into limbo. Then limbo was "officially" abolished so I dunno what Christians believe now... there's actually some extremely interesting folklore in Ireland that has to do with babies who died before they were baptized. Apparently their graves were marked by a certain type of bush (can't remember what it's called) and it's a big superstition that you'll get a ton of bad luck if you disturb any of these bushes.

This is unfair...if something don't sound right, it's probably not...learn to think for yourself, this is one of the great faults of religion, not to say religion is bad...personally, I won't support any religion which advocates not thinking for yourself...bottom-line; If God exists-he is without a doubt a God of intelligence, enlightenment and growth...anything contrary to this has got to be wrong!

No. Baptism is only an outward sign of an inward identification. David said he would see his son again in heaven. Jesus said bring the children unto Me. Except those who are as innocent as a child, will enter the gates of heaven.
