The human species murders more of its own kind than any other species that has ever existed. Where are you from? Religion is and has always been a contributing factor to this sad truth.

No.
Carniverous predators are programmed to kill so that they can eat.
Ours is NOT the only species that commit murder of the same species. Chimpanzees do it, as one example. Male lions will kill and eat the newly-born offspring of lionesses that they never mated with.
Humans are not naturally carniverous, so we have to tenderise/soften flesh so that we can consume it. We have to cook it. It is something that we have learned.
Thus, except in times of distress or danger or even greed, mankind is not disposed to murder his own kind. Yet - it happens. That's life.

Question is flawed.Species don't murder each other or one another and to understand it,you must understand the meaning of word 'Murder'.WEBSTER's II dictionary describes a Murder as:-'The unlawful killing of one human being by another, esp with with premeditated malice'.Animals hunt and kill other animals or humans, but don't Murder them. From where and how you have dragged religion in to all this? You see, any Idiot can ask or question any thing but it will show.Research your point well before coming on Y/A and please think of value addition for your co-surfers.

Have you not turned on the television or watched News lately.
It is natural for people to murder each other. Just not the smartest thing to do, if you wish not to be murdered yourself, or go to jail....
Or how you put it, if you wish not to be condemned to hell....
Either one works as a deterrent. I myself don't need the threat of hell. The threat of being murdered in retaliation, or going to jail is sufficient, to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Everything and everyone has a primal instinct. In some it's stronger than other. Some can control it others can't. Plus man has been killing man since man was smart enough to realize it was going on.

Yes - but murder in other species is actually pretty rare, in most cases fights only establish dominance.

Humans don't murder each others? Now, tell that to the thousands of people Moses killed.

Animals can't murder. Murder is the illegal killing of one human being by another. Murder is distinguished from other forms of homicide by the elements of intent and the lack of justification.

You will find upon examining the non-human species that they do not kill unless it is for food or for leadership of the pack/status for mating.
Humans, on the other hand, kill for many other reasons. One chief reason that differentiates us is that we kill other humans because they do not believe in the same god, or worship god differently. No other animal does this.

We have developed advanced facilities for communication which make many of those murders that occur among other species unnecessary for us. (i.e. we have the ability to say, "Can you leave me alone please? It's six in the morning.")
