There's that pesky part called Spirituality. Too many people use religion as an excuse to vent. And spirituality is supposed to be politically correct by covering the non-religious. Makes for a lot of button pushing (pun intended).

Since when does Christianity hold the exclusive rights to YA! ?
Christianity is not the be all end all in religion and spirituality.
There are hundreds of different religious and spiritual beliefs in the world.

As a believer in Christ, our responsibility is not to "convert", only God show someone the right path. Our responsibility is to "put the bug" in someone's ear. If they are resistant to the word of God, you "wipe the dust from your feet and move on". Then, you are leaving it up to God.
People who are resistant to the word of God really listen without realizing it. They are made aware of the truth, regardless if they believe it or not. Christ said to those who have ears let them listen. He repeats this time after time. Whenever a "non-believer" responds to a question on here or they are browsing the section, they are receiving the "bug".
It is not about not wanting anything to do with Christianity. It is about trying to pull others away from their beliefs. What they fail to realize is they are conducting the work of Satan.
I use that phrase lightly but let me explain. The Devil's sole purpose in life is to pull the children of God away from Him. To do this, he accesses the human heart's desires. He en-stills fear and doubt. Remember, he has had thousands and thousands and thousands of years to perfect his methods of deception and will do it in the most subtle of ways. He may even have had longer than that.
That may sound all "Hollywood" but it is what it is.

Much like the police who when arresting someone reads the Miranda Rights, reminding you that anything you say may be used against you.
The only defense is to be sure that whatever you do is within God's will, and anything you say can be backed up scripturally.

I believe its because they are seeking for truth. It is much easier to hide behind criticism than to show the true core. That is why we as believers need to read between the lines, and not join in with it.

Because we are quite at liberty to do so. Religion, like anything else, should be open to skepticism.
