Who says I divert them?
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Mat 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Once an individual, or a nation has "incurred the wrath of God" there is no diversion. The time of diversion is BEFORE the wrath of God.

Know your opponent. Not everyone will hear, not everyone will see. Plant the seed and then move on. There are those that will receive. You can help them. There are those that won't get it. Ever. You may never know. Just keep on moving forward. Don't waste your time trying to convince someone who isn't receving it . There is someone else out there waiting for you...who will. In the least likely place.

There is no wrath of God. God doesn't exist. Religion is superstition.
Instead of trying to divert them, try listening to them.
