Ive read the Quran several times, and while I have found many contradictions and errors, to my knowledge, there are none with respect to killing unbelievers.
Genocide (Jihad) commandments are laced throughout the whole of the Quran. Consider the following:
a). Quran 9:29 “fight (jihad) those who believe not in allah” http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/009.qmt.html
Straightforward, present tense commandment to fight everyone who isnt a believer. The entire chapter utters no recantation or limitation. This is present tense language, not allegory (story language) as in the bible.
b). Quran 8:39 “and fight with them until...religion should be only for allah" http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.qmt.htmlhttp://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/008.qmt.html
Notice the scope of this genocide commandment in the usage of the word "until". So the genocide of non-muslims should continue "until" religion should be only for Allah. Thats pretty explicit, its no wonder so many Muslims are so certain about the genocidal call of their religion.
c). Quran 4:74 “let those fight in the cause of allah who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. to him who fighteth in the cause of allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - soon shall we give him a reward of great (value). http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/004.qmt.html
If youve ever wondered about where the suicide bombers get this absolute idea of reward for murder, you now have your answer. Remember, Muslims are raised to have absolute belief in the perfection of the Quran. Literalism in Islam is mainstream.
They really believe this stuff. No hedging or uncertainty, not in the mainstream, which is why a boy can smile and press the button, he really believes it time to receive his promised bounty.

As a Christian, I have witnessed time and time again, people taking a verse out of a chapter in order to make God and Christians look bad. They fail to understand how the verse was used within the story.
I will give people of Islam faith the benefit of the doubt and allow that this is being done to the Quran. Surely, there are peace loving, good hearted people practicing the Islam faith.
As I see it, the problem is with their government controlling Islam and the government is controlled by radicals or terrorists. The peace loving people of Islam are also victims.
What I do not understand, is that more American Islamists do not speak out. This is America, they can practice freedom of religion, and freedom of speech, yet they remain all but silent.
That is what causes my concern, and gives crediability to the enemy being within the gates.

Since you are studying the Qur'an the principle of abrogation may help you to understand the contradictions.
You see, abrogation means that verses which were revealed later to Mohammed "Abrogate" or cancel out the verses which were revealed earlier.
I am not making this up.
The Qur'an even abrogates the concept of abrogation...
The words of the Lord are perfect in truth and justice;
there is NONE who can change His words.
He both heareth and knoweth.
-- Sura 6:115
None can change the words of God;
-- Sura 6:34
There is no changing the words of God;
that is the mighty triumph.
-- Sura 10:64
And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord, there is none who can alter His words;
and you shall not find any refuge besides Him.
-- Sura 18:27
However:
And for whatever verse we abrogate and cast into oblivion
We bring a better or the like of it;
knowest thou not that God is powerful over everything?
-- Sura 2:106
And when We exchange a verse in place of another verse --
and God knows very well what He is sending down --
they say, 'Thou art a mere forger!'
Nay, but the most of them have no knowledge.
-- Sura 16:101
So basically there are many contradictory statements in the Qur'an such as "There should be no compulsion in religion" vs. "Slay the infidel wherever you find them!" and the verses written later cancel out the verses written first.
This helps Islam present a "PC" face, because the earlier verses (when Islam was a minority religion) were peaceful, but when Mohammed got more and more influence, power, and soldiers, Islam became bloodier and more violent. "Allah" abrogated his earler verses of tolerance and replaced them with verses of conquest...

You havent fairly understood the Quran as yet. The Quran is a guidance from Allah, The Quran tells us how to live this worldly life.
If you start a few guidelines, you will see the difference.
There is a verse in the Quran, were the Lord tells men to lower their gaze & guard their modesty.
This simply means that men shouldnt be looking at females with the desire(lust/love). & even men should dress properly so that men dont become a centre of attraction sort of thing.
Try implicating a few guidelines. You will definitely feel the difference.

sure. and that i'm no longer Catholic. you have gotten gotten a swifter answer asking yahoo seek bar than yahoo solutions. And it peeves me while human beings say issues like Catholics have been the commencing up of Christianity. the classic kingdom of Israel existed in the past Catholics. The Romans got here after the Isrealites. worry-unfastened historic past which you will discover everywhere. Even an atheist would ought to trust that.

The Bible also does this. Has anyone actually read the Old Testement and what Moses told the people. He said to stone women who cheated on their husbands. Not men as well, just the women.
It sucks. But don't read it literally. they were written thousands of years ago, so they are not exactly relevant to today

I am pretty sure that Muhammad wanted the word of Islam to be spread around but, he believed that people should be able to make their own choice. So, other followers of Islam should not try to force the religion on anyone that is not willing. I do not believe that he said there should be punishment for that. This religion is not a violent religion. It is very strict when it comes to morals for men and woman but, it is all about love for people. I think...lol!

Quran is from God, sometimes it is very hard to intepret it in daily activities, so do follow sunnah (the prophet Muhammad way of life), very easy...
Did He killed infidels for no reason? >No (you might arguing this with the incident in Madinah, they are traitors)
Did He killed innocent? > No
Did He despise, insult or torture other religion followers?> No
and so many things.....

you didn't read the Quran.
but ofcurse you don't want to talk about the other things you found in the Quran, which is worship God alone, forgive, give charity, fast, kind to your neighbours, parents, wife. have mercy to others.... ofcurse not, because you intention is to show Islam as negative as possible. that's why you didn't read the Quran, but you have read some random websites instead. take it easy.
