It is called obsessive-compulsive disorder and can be fixed with medication. See your doctor and let them know. It is not a demon...don't worry. Mmm

Like the others, I agree that you're behavior is a symptom of OCD. However, unlike the others, I won't say that it isn't a demon that is causing your compulsions and fears. I believe that demonic possession and even the external pressure from the "head demon" (satan) can cause a person to develop any number of "psychological disorders". Fear is one of satan's most powerful weapons against humans.
Because you asked this question of "Christians", I'm assuming that you are a Christian and my advice is based on that assumption.
Other answers suggested that you seek a medical and/or psychological solution to your problem. I suggest that you seek a spiritual solution first. Read the bible and look for verses that talk about "worry" and "fear" and other terms related to compulsive behavior. As you do, take special note of what Jesus said about these things. Throughout the bible, God makes it clear that our lives are in his hands and that we should not worry or be fearful of anything. Identify at least one other Christian that you can discuss these issues with (your pastor or another "mature" Christian who knows and understands how Jesus can help us conquer all our fears and give us the strength to change virtually any behavior.
When you feel that "demon" attacking you, rebuke him the same way Jesus did when satan tempted him early in his ministry (e.g., Matthew 4:1-11).
I'm not suggesting that you reject the possibility of medical (biological) cause for your symptoms. I'm simply suggesting that you explore a spiritual solution first. A medical solution might make you a slave to your condition (e.g., requiring you to take medication or pursue expensive psychological counseling to control the symptoms...a spiritual solution might liberate you from something that wants to control you!

Sweetie...that is not a demon. It's called having OCD or being a hypochondriac. I have done the same thing all of my life. If you really want help, you can seek professional help or you can email me for the suggestions I received when I was going through therapy for it.

I can tell you that demons are not real, if this post is real, and you have a psychiatric condition called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and need to see a Psychiatrist to get evaluated.

If you are serious with this question I have the following that set me totally free.
GOD IS SOVERIEGN. He is in charge. If you are going to get some illness it is because He ordained it, if you are one of His children, you can trust Him even in this.
If you are not a Christian you may very well have something to worry about but worry will not bring relief only He can.
Being able to let go and TOTALLY trust in Him is the most freeing thing that you can do.
Before I came into this understanding I used to get physically ill every Fall because my industry ballances its books by by laying off workers at that time. For 30 years I have gone through this with 3 times being layed off. Each time I was let go it resulted in a greater job and oportunity and new people to be light and salt in their lives.
