I already do. I wish we didn't have to think about it at all.

However, Christians and people of other religions keep trying to enforce their beliefs on us.

When I am about to die, I will hope that the time I spent thinking about Christianity will help prevent those in the future from having to spend much time on such superstition.

Religion causes much harm in the world. It's about time we got over it.

No, No and NO!!! I am a very proud to be an atheist and I am very glad I am not brainwashed by something that many parents force upon them when they are a child. Before the child is able to ask the question--the answer is already given to him from books written a long time ago. This is the only proof that the Christians have--"It was written a long time ago and so many people believe this stuff that it must be right." Christians, Jews, and Muslims are just sheep--following their herd--unable and stubborn to think outside the box, think rationally, and for themselves. Come to think of it--The bible was written 200 years after Jesus' death so there is absolutely NO PROOF whatsoever that he even existed. Actually, there were 4 and 5 different Jesus -type characters in the bible and no one cares to mention these mythical characters. The pastors and priests are afraid of people who are against their teachings because they might be out of a job.

Christianity is built upon striking fear into people that you will burn in hell if you dont believe in there religion. The same threats are true with Judaism and Muslim beliefs. Who is right? In my opinion NOBODY. The bible was written a long time ago by men (farmers) who were searching to understand the world around them. Science has been disproving Christianity for 300 years now and the Christians keep changing up their beliefs--now trying to mix their religion and science (which was once taboo) because they have been proved wrong over and over again. They are so stubborn that they keep changing and molding their beliefs because they are so set on their beliefs that they wont admit its complete inconsistancy. Yes, the world is older than 6000 years and yes EVOLUTION is real--there is proof of this. Anyone who follows a religion on blind faith is very foolish in my opinion--discover for yourself--dont let some book filled with fairytales convince you otherwise.
This leads me to answer your question further--If I am wrong and their is a God and there is judgement (which I am pretty positive there is none--but if there is) I think God will be a whole lot more forgiving when I say "You didnt provide me with enough proof of our existence--now that I know and you showed yourself to me I appologize. I think that is sufficient instead of some book that MAN manipulated in order to unmercifully take power and control people by threats. Think about it. I hope this answers your question and NO I have absolutely NO regrets as a free thinker.

I wouldn't know since as an atheist I don't spend very much time thinking about Christianity.Rather I spend time thinking about how much better the world would be without it.But regardless, I have no regrets of how I have lived or what I have thought about.Regrets are reserved for people who either haven't lived life to the fullest or feel they didn't accomplish something that they wanted to accomplish. So far, neither is true for me and so I have no regrets.

Much will depend on how firm his convictions are. The sage Kanva who first propounded the atomic theory was firm in his views. He believed the atoms were the ultimate reality. When on his death-bed his relatives and friends insisted that at least now he surrender to god. The Sage folder his hands and saluted the atoms(kanay namah) and breathed his last. The Indian atheists-the Charvaks-fearlessly did not have to face social ostracisation.as in the West. In fact, serious religious treatises(the darshas) saluted them in the beginning of their compilations and endeavoured to disprove their philosophy logically.

I think you have the misunderstanding about atheists so far
If we compare God to the house, the believer will sleep in house and all our activities will be in house. When we go somewhere we will miss our home because the relationship will be on our mind.

How do think about the homeless? The paper box is his friend till they died. Right??

No, I'm probably going to regret wasting my youth going to University and wasting my middle age in some cube farm. I enjoy thinking about religions, philosophies, sciences, etc.

Atheism is a belief. It views revelation as unbelievable. Christianity has no part of their life; they view dying as moving towards nonexistence.

Medical science have identified the stages of death. Everyone goes through them, but Christian have hope (and doubts) regarding eternal life. Atheists do not have hope and no doubts.

Why would they spend time thinking about Christianity as opposed to Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.? They disbelieve all religions equally.

Nope! But then again it was just a minor diversion. I spent most of my time thinking about deviant sex and rock-and-roll. I've had lots of both in my life.

When Christians die, will they regret wasting one out of seven days of their pathetic lives?
