How about this: YOU take seriously what you have to say. You cannot control another person's behavior or personality. IF your boyfriend is not the kind of person you want for a boyfriend you need to find someone who is, not try to change this guy. The mature thing for you to do is to realize that you have outgrown him at this point in your lives and you are no longer a good fit for each other.

How could he possibly know what your problem is? Nobody here really seems to understand. Is it something you said that is so confusing? No, it is what you did not say. See, sister, is all depends on what "immature" means. To communicate with him, succinctly define just what is creeping you out about being hooked up with this so-called "immature" dude. Tell it like it is. Don't hold back. And be resolved and ready to deal with the consequences.

Like the warden said to Luke, in the movie "Cool Hand Luke," What we have here is a failure to communicate!

All men act immature. It's what we do. It's what we live for.

Look at this answer for example. I am a man and I am acting immature right now. In fact I am so immature, I am going to say 'poo' and laugh while I do it.

He's just having fun and enjoying life, why don't you start acting stupid as well. It's fun, I promise.

Poo

Poo

Wee

Bum

Mimi, I dont know your age, I am guessing your in your teens. Boys and men will always act immature. There is no real answer. You just have to pick a boy or man that you can live with the immaturity. We are all (men) way behind you girls.

How old are you two? Boys sometimes take longer to mature. If he is not acting, ya either have to wait for him to grow up or move on.
If the problems are actions that he can change, like sticking straws up his nose, then tell him to stop. Tell him he looks sexier without the straws! If you really like him and you guys are really young, you might want to wait him out. If you guys are older--say over 30--move on if you can;t take it.

> My Boyfriend acts immature

He urinates standing up, too. It comes with the territory. When he's 30 - 35 he'll get better. By 50 he'll be halfway there.

u want ur boyfriend to change and be more serious. . .

first mistake. wanting to change someone into something they not is never really a good thing. u can ask him to stop the little things that irritate u but u wont get it all right.

if he isn't what u want anymore u should really think long and hard about ur relationship with him
