If I'm just eating "plain" ice cream, then I go with chocolate, especially dark chocolate ice cream (yum!)
I use vanilla when I'm pairing it with something else sweet - like a slice of pie, or fresh berries, or fresh baked cookies. Vanilla goes great with just about any "dessert" flavor!

I don't like ice cream, but the only thing that cures my hangovers, is a vanilla milkshake. So I guess I'll have to say, vanilla.
