when it is known that the old testaments are written / translated better than any other major religious document and is the truest, closet and least changed from the original writings. i can see how you have doubts when you look at the lives and times of Moses and Abraham, undeniably the two most important figures in Judaism. Moses saw many wars and started some of them but never did he do this on his own. he was told by God in every case and so i would have to say none of the major religions, Judaism, Islam or Christianity can claim to be the religion of peace for the fact that they all have the same God and this God has commanded each one of them to destroy others. I myself follow the Christianity religion because of the 3 it is the only one that preaches tolerance and love. so i believe your doubts are justified but remember that all of the religions that share the same God / Allah / Jehovah, which ever name you choose to call him, has not practice peace the whole time. LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE THY SELF.

I believe that the Jews have historically been in a defensive posture. They seem to have always had to fight to survive. I don't seem them straping men, woman, and children with bombs to kill innocent people. I don't see their religion instructing them to kill if someone writes a book or draws a cartoon against their religion. I'm not Jewish or any particualr religion. Historically though, the Jews have made many contributions to music, science, math, finance, etc. Not many other single religious sects can say that. What contributions to the world can the Christians, Muslims, atheists, Buddhists, etc. list?

I think all religions are at the core religions of peace. It would make no sense for a religion to be founded on anything else. Since you have provided no evidence for your doubts it's impossible to answer your question.

LOL! When Jews were a tiny despised minority, Judaism was the religion of peace and love and tolerance. Now that Jews are in a position of power they act like every other group when it's in a position of power.
One of the great ironies of history is that religions putatively based on love and tolerance and the brotherhood of man are the things most responsible for hatred and war and death in the world.

Judaism is a way of life. It values life and definitely not the loss of life, so yes it's peaceful. It is about living in a civilized world. They created many of the laws that modern day justice system have based theirs on. Did you know that even modern day bankruptcy laws originated from the Torah?

the only reason is Al Qaeda, human beings think of all muslims act this variety because of the fact of them. Al Qaeda have their own propaganda against diverse international locations and that they are doing that decrease than the call of islam (that's erroneous in islam).

I have my doubts that you aren't an anti-Semite, based on some of yer previous posts. No Jews that I know are going around blowing up dozens of people in marketplaces, for one.
Wake up, lady. Surely you have something better to do with your energy than wasting it on disliking religion. Why not just ignore them and leave the rest of us alone?

Well, let's see. If I were surrounded by armed religious fanatics who have as part of their creed the goal of destroying me and continued to prove time and time again that they intended to do it by what ever means was necessary, I might not be the most peaceful person on earth either.
