In black and white I can see why you are worried that it sounds bad. But if it's what other people think then don't worry. If his best friend treats you right and you are both happy then that's all that matters. Im not normally soppy but I do believe in this saying I heard once. 'True Love cannot be found where it does not truly exist, nor can it be hidden where it truly does'.
Perhaps you are just meant to be with this person, I'm just sorry that you had to go through abuse before you got it. I hope your happy in your new life hun x.

Wrong - no
Irresponsible - quite likely
I mean often friends hang around like minded people - not to say that the new guy is going to hit you or anything... but I would just be sure what you got yourself into.
However if he treats you right and you love each other - and he is good to you and the baby then who are we to judge?
The important thing is you are no longer with an abusive person, you left and are making a new (and hopefully better life choice) with someone really special....

if this new guy would not hurt you in any way then there's no good reason for you to doubt anymore, your ex's bestfriend or not. what i'm worried about is you getting pregnant all the time, try to be on the safe side all the time than always jumping in the next speed bullet train that will come your way.remember you do have two kids in tow now and it wouldn't be easy if you get left behind again just because you made a bad decision.
just be safe.god bless

I agree with the girl who answered first, it is absolutely NOT wrong. U have the right to live ur life happily, and living with someone who abuses and mistreats a lady is not happiness. Girl, u get married and find true love in this man, even if he was your ex's bestfreind. Just make sure he will protect you and love you like every good woman deserves. I wish u the best in life. For you and ur child.

As long as you are not getting into the same situation then it is ok. Don't EVER let a guy abuse you, no matter what.

no i don't think it's wrong. but i do think that you need to be careful. if this guy is your ex's "best friend", he may be a little too much like your ex. just be careful and watch out for your babies and yourself...

Nope, but i hope this friend isn't his bestfriend anymore knowing what he did to you. You should be his bestfriend now and he should want to protect you.

'Wrong 'doesn't describe it. ' Irresponsible' comes to mind.
