And then he sends to Hell (the Muslim version) because you didn't believe in him, even if you were a good person.

A. Would you feel like you deserve that punishment?
B. Would you feel like justice was served?
C. What would you think about thier God if he did that to you?

And to avoid semantics, lets allow the 'God that really exists' to be any God other than the Christian one. The Jewish God, Zeus, Vishnu, whoever.

A. No one is truly a good person - good enough to live with God forever in a perfect paradise. We all have flaws which would turn heaven into hell if we were allowed to enter without the transforming power of Jesus Christ at work in our hearts. So if the Muslim god were the real God, I would deserve punishment because that god has not provided an atonement for my sins.

B. Yes. I know that in my innermost being I do not deserve to have eternal life in the presence of a holy being, in the presence of sinless individuals. I would destroy paradise if I were given the chance.

C. I would wonder why he did not have the grace and compassion and love that the Christian God had. I would also wonder why he did not understand the Christian religion (the Qur'an misrepresents Christianity and shows a basic misunderstanding of the religion) I would tell him I read your Qur'an and it was flawwed. I would ask him why he created a deception when he allowed a djinn to look like Jesus and die on the cross fooling me and 1/3 of the population of the world and dooming us to hell.

I'm sorry if that was filled with "semantics" to you - but each case would be different. And I believe that the Christian God IS the Jewish God - Jesus is the Messiah promised in the Hebrew scriptures. He is the fufillment of the promises of the Torah.

First of all, allah is called hubal and is acording to historical records, the moon god. Change history if you do not like that. Also Isaiah 44:6Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made ; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.Isaiah 46:10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. This IS The Jewish God.And you are a little confused. G-D does not send anyone to hell. You do that by rejecting Jesus. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentanceMatthew 25:41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.Beinga good person will not get you into heaven.Ephesians 2:5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9
Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God . Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hello,

About as shocked if a Muslim died either naturally or as a suicide bomber, crosses over and faces Jesus on the other side with dozens of demons below his feet waiting to torment them in place of young virgins.

a) Well I could not say I wasn't warned that Mohamed was the prophet and God's last word.

b) If you don't listen and refuse to believe then justice will be served. Like they say, ignorance of the law is no excuse.

c) There would be little to think about. I would be going to hell anyway so what I thought of their God after that would be a moot point anyway.

The futility of the argument here is that Allah, Mohamed, Yahweh, Jesus Zeus, Vishnu, whoever have never appeared to any of us to say which religion is nay or yeah and nobody has ever come back from being "really" dead to confirm the truth. We are all in the same game taking the same risk on equal footing everywhere.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

Well, I'm a Christian and I fully expect that the "real God" will be the Muslim God AND the Jewish God AND the Christian God...all three of these religions are founded on belief in the same God!

I don't know enough about the foundations/origins of the other gods you mentioned to form any belief about whether or not they could also be the "real God" so I'll focus on your original question. In doing so, I have to ignore the concept of a "good person" since that term can't be defined precisely.

I don't believe the "real God" will "send me to Hell" (the Muslim version or any other) because I don't accept man-made definitions of "hell". I DO believe in the Muslim God...I just practice my belief differently.

If it turns out that I am wrong and God only allows people who worship him in a particular way to live in his eternal kingdom, then
A. I would feel like I deserved the "punishment" of eternal separation from God. The "real God" has the right to set the rules by which his creation can live in his kingdom and if I choose not to follow those rules I shoudn't expect him to invite me to his house.
B. Yes, for the same reason as above. Separation from God is a natural consequence of my own actions. I had the opportunity to accept his conditions for entering his kingdom as specified in the Qu'ran and I chose to reject them...it is entirely fair, equitable and just for me to suffer the consequences of my choice.
C. I would think that he was the creator of the universe (and of man and of me) and thus he had the legitimate authority to make whatever decision he made. I'm not saying I wouldn't be hugely ticked off at him (assuming I actually exist in a state that allows me to experience anger), but I wouldn't be in a position to do anything about that anger.

A. I deserve that punishment as I would be powerless against god just like an ant is to a human or just like a chicken raised by a family that it is being killed for food.

B. There is no issue of justice here. It is a just a superior being bully an inferior being.

C. I would feel that this god have no intelligent since he does not even know how to make a good person believe that he is the real god.

I think God is God, whatever you call him. I think the Muslim God is the same as the Jewish God is the same as the Christian God is the same as any other God you can think of, but some religions have more truth in their way of seeing him than others do. We all think he has different rules, but personally I think Catholicism gives the most logical reasoning for living a life of faith, and the least-conflicting set of moral obligations. Therefore, I am Catholic.

In answer to your question though, I don't think God would do that to a good person just because they hadn't declared themselves part of a particular religion.

I could be mistaken and if I am I apologize, but that's how I see things.

A. No B. No -and I don't say this just for myself but for the millions of Christians who would not deserve Hell.
C. If the real god is like that then the whole universe is screwed.

And no, the God that I believe in is not like that.

Am i supposed to ask him,"Why you?"
He is there so i can't change that now if he happens to be the one.
What justice? I am not the whole world....you sound like i would be taking the punishment for the entire world.
I would think 'WHAT A BONE HEAD!" he sure doesn't know how to treat his children. I guess i would walk around with an attitude that this is not the way to make friends and get respect.

A. God is God, even they beleive that if you put your trust in the Lord, the Almighty and live a good life you will be saved.
B. If I deserve to go to Hell for whatever reason then so be it, that would be beyond my control and as long as I lived my life as best I could there isn't anything more to think about.
C. That their God had a reason within the religion.

Jesus Christ was a Jew so in a way all religions worshiping an almighty spirit are the same on some level.
