A boyfriend I had in college just called me back 5 years after our breakup, which was quite painfull for me at the time (for him quite less, because he was a lot in his 'ego trip' and being quite a player). Though, a lot have been going on in my life since then and I was quite happy to see him and know what he had become. He hugged me at the end of our meeting and seemed sincerely enthousiastic about seeing me. Of course, there was no 'love in the air'.. it was a reunion, nothing more.

Is it true that at some point, if you do not call back, your exes will always want to get in touch with you after a while? Have you experienced it?

Yes, they do, I have experienced it. They try to replace me with a replica and never find me again. But they always look and call ten or twenty or more years later... yes, they do.

In most cases, yes. I just recently had dinner with my old high school bf. He's married with kids now so it was more of a curiosity/catch up meeting. It was actually a really nice time. I've had a few that I haven't spoken to since the break up, but many of them to do resurface at some time. It feels good to know that they still think about you, doesn't it?

not necessarily always true. there is one girl that i dated, probably 4 years ago now, that i haven't heard from since we broke up, and i've got a few more, one of which hates me more than anything in the world (i did the right thing but it still hurts ya know?) and then one more that i swear on my life i'll never call again (though she may call me so i'l lget back to you on that lol)

If they still care I think they would, but five years thats a long time. Does he want you back, an if so, it took a long time for him to figure it out. I wouldnt take him back if thats the case
