the only way you could be covered under your husbands GI Bill is if, god for bid, he should be killed in the line of duty, or suffer a service connected injury that would cause permanent disability, then, all his benefits would pass to the surviving spouse or children. But, their are plenty of programs to help you out with continuing your education, each service branch has various programs! Follow some of the links provided, and good luck!

The GI Bill covers only the person who served in the military, not spouses. You can apply for a Grant from PELL at the college you want to attend, if you qualify. You can also apply for a scholarship if you have high grades.

no the Bill CANNOT be used to pay loans already taken out. the new Post 9/11 Bill pays tuition directly to the school. it CANNOT be transferred to a spouse or minor child unless the SM has served at least 10 years AD. note I said MINOR child.. since you say Father in law, your husband is NOT eligible to receive the transfer as he is no longer your FiL's dependent.

The Montgomery GI Bill is only for the military member. You are not covered and he can't transfer the benefit to you.

Yes, but only if you are 100% disabled. Otherwise the answer is no. I looked into this myself and called the main GI bill headquarters in Coloroda. Sorry

I looked it up. And so far it looks like the Army is the only one doing it tho they're calling it 'Transfer of MGIB Benefits to Spouse Army Pilot Program'
I just skimmed over it.

No it will not. If your husband is still active duty, there are scholarships available to you through diff. organizations, depending on the branch of service.
