I'm making up a no-bake cheesecake for a potluck. Can I use fresh berries in the cheesecake mixture and still have it set okay?

yes. just make sure they are rinsed and dry. you don' want to add excess juice or water into the mix. you should be fine though. I would avoid berries that have a lot of moisture though.

I say yes. I use fresh berries on top of cheesecake all of the time. I have sometimes stirred them into the batter before chilling it for a no-bake type cheesecake. Don't use fresh pineapple (it's not a berry so youmight already know this) if it's something that has to jell.

In the cheescake mixture....I wouldn't recommend it. It might have not the right consitency.

I suggest putting it on top, make a pretty design.
