What do you mean "ride with him" and on what?? Is this a ride to school, work, or just cruising? Is it a motor bike, ATV, or car? Do your parents have a relationship with this guy? There really are too many unanswered questions for me to provide an accurate answer...sorry.
I just read that you're 15...hell NO! Sweet now...what will he be when you two are alone?? Too much of a chance...

How about you try to tell them that he will come over ever weekend and earn their trust and maybe you and him will not like that but they just want to know if he is going to take care of you when they are not around.

They have to trust him. If they dont trust him they are not going to let you in the car with him. Let your parents get to know him. Tell them about him. Prove to them it is ok.

ok, i'm a mom
we dont let our 15 year old niave daughters go riding with strange boys
duh, he could rape you, or Worse!!!!!!!!
listen to mom and dad
if he REALLY wants to see you, he'll meet your parents and get to know you
these other kids telling you to sneak out are going to get You and themselves in trouble

Once you become a parent you will understand that your parents love you and want to keep you safe forever.

Why? don't you suggest they meet him and then set rules? They are parents after all, don't get mad at them for caring about you!

I don't think your parents are being over protective,
maybe "concerned".
