No, not really.
I haven't seen atheists be any more rude than Christians, Muslims or other people in here. This is a forum for expressing opinions.
Actually, I've seen some very patient and thought out answers from atheists who keep being asked the same stupid questions.

Actually, I think a lot of the people on here regardless of belief could benefit from a Manners 101 class. As a Christian, I've certainly been on the receiving end of some rude behavior by atheists...however, I've also seen plenty of atheists on the receiving end of rude behavior by Christians. ...and then there is the rude behavior directed at Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses...and don't forget about all the rudeness directed at blacks, whites, homosexuals, heterosexuals, and a whole bunch of other people.
When I first started coming here, I did think that the atheists were significantly more rude than the Christians, but as I have spent more time on here, I've come to see that rudeness isn't limited to a specific group...in fact, I'd be hard pressed to identify any one group that contains more rude people than any other.

Some do, some don't. Personally I find some people acting completely immature on here but both groups--- Atheists and Christians-- have a right to express their thoughts on the subject of religion or lack thereof. I just wish some people would take in consideration of others feelings.

Agnes,
My wife and I have been Christians for over twenty years. I see no difference on this site in the Atheists and the Christians except that the Christians are supposed to have the promise of eternal salvation and should never treat anyone in such a manner. I would prefer that we ask positive questions and attempt to keep the negativity to a minumum, wouldn't you?? Our FATHER expects us to convert those who are not Christians and if we treat them as the enemy then we certainly have no opportunity to convert any of them. Don't You agree? Have a wonderful week.
Thank you,.
Eds (A simple Christian)

Many people on here are rude. It is an open forum after all.
You prolly only think that Atheists are rude because you have not seen many of the rude things Christians write to Atheists.

I believe there are believers and non-believers that have, at times, made their entire group look rude. What I'm trying to say is maybe one person said something that reflected bad on an entire group of people. There has been things said by Christians that I do not agree with, however, I do not call people names or make fun of what they do or do not believe in.

Let's see, you're constantly insulting and belittling people, and you say THEY need a lesson in manners.
It's a pity your husband doesn't have a degree in Psychology, then he could explain the concept of "projection" to you.

I agree, but I think many of our fellow Christians need those same Manners 101 classes. Don't you agree?
