There is no god. So future humans will see this as any other mythology and laugh at our ignorance.

Yes, I would say that Christianity technically is a cult by definition. I agree, there will be one world religion and Christ is now officially the Ruler of the Universe. When he comes back, every Knee will bow. God will be worshiped. He will set up his Kingdom on Earth so it says in the book of Revelations, (in the city of New Jerusalem.)

A lot of people regard Christianity (and other religions) as a cult now.
Cult:
1. a particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies.
2. an instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, esp. as manifested by a body of admirers: the physical fitness cult.
3. the object of such devotion.
4. a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc.
5. Sociology. a group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols.

Some people believe certain religions are cults, burning inscents, chanting, etc. Although I feel every religion has its purpose, good and bad. Take the good out of what you can and think for yourself as it sounds like you have.

I don't think the world, as we know it, will last that long. But you assume something you do not know to be true. How do you know what Jesus will do upon his return?

Christian religions are cults, as are all religions. They're all elaborate fictions, with lots of psychology to keep the gullible in line.
