End time prophecy:
Men would be lovers of themselves (2 Timothy 3:1-2). This generation, like no other, regards self above all else. Self-love, self-esteem, self-reliance, self-gratification, are encouraged by the media, schools, psychologists, etc. In contrast, Jesus taught self-denial. Even many churches today preach a feel good about yourself message.
Youth would become increasingly rebellious (2 Timothy 3:2-3; Mark 13:12). No comment necessary.
Humanity would become increasingly materialistic and lovers of pleasure (2 Timothy 3:1-5). No generation in history has had so many means to entertain and arouse the senses. Every imaginable hedonistic pleasure is available and has become big business.

Every generation is the same. Get real. All humans are selfish. Youth always rebel. All humans have loved pleasure from the dawn of humanity.
If Revelations actually said something specific like: "Turkey will have difficulty getting in to the EU because of the Cyprus issue." Then I would find it significant.

The Bible isn't the be attentive to God, yet quite the words of many writers who would desire to no longer and did no longer understand what replaced into being printed to them. Why did Jesus come and instruct a completely different philosophy if the OT replaced into superb suited? No, Jesus had to come again and straighten the checklist out. The least of guy's issues is sexual orientation or selection. i think of God is maximum saddened by using the hateful and judgmental believers attacking others in his call.

The Bible was written by man. No one was taking notes as God was dictating. It's just what they THINK he'd say. Needless to say that if all people followed Jesus' teachings the world would be a better place.
I bet you I could write a book with a bunch of prophecies. And in about 2000 years a bunch of them would come true. Does that make me the messiah? Hell no. Can I get an amen?

Loaded question.
You deliberately worded your question incorrectly in order to get a negative reaction.
In the beginning was the word. And the word was with God, and the word *was* God.
God is love.
Jesus was the word manifest.
Therefore, the King James version of the holy bible is not the word. Jesus was and is the word.
And Jesus, my dear, was not the book of Leviticus. Love does not demand the blood of children, or condemn others for loving. If you think so, then you are rejecting the word of God.
Be well...

I in no way deny that any of the statements in the bible are easily taken as however the reader wants to.
I also in no way deny that every single year has been predicted to be the end times since somewhere around when humans started walking the earth.
I do however, deny that any of them are right. As they all have obviously have been wrong.

Every generation is roughly the same. There are variations, don't get me wrong, but to say this generation is the worst of all time is pure speculation. That's why this whole prophecy crap is such a great idea. It's recycled over and over again.

Just because I don't believe in your mythology doesn't make me a self-absorbed cretin. Throw all the 'prophecy' around you like, that doesn't make it a fact.
And what's the deal with your god constantly generalizing about people? If you don't follow me you are evil, if you don't obey you are cursed, if you question my beliefs you are of the devil.
Seriously, how can you respect such a flawed ideology?

I believe that the Bible is in fact the word of God. I also agree to what you brought up about the prophecy in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 as well.

This prophecy has EVERYTHING to do with the hedonistic Roman culture at the time the prophecy was made.
It was merely a call back to humble values.
