I live near Orlando, Fl and about 5 days ago I was bite on my forearm near my elbow. I thought it was a mosquito bite at first but i started to get swollen. The surronding area of the bite is bright red and mildly painful. It itches right in the center. I scratched off the scab and white puss came out followed by a clear slimy substance. Now it almost looks like a bruise around it and it starting to spread out. Please if anyone can help in anyway I would appreciate it.

It's about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

STOP AND SEE A PHYSICIAN, THE FACT THAT'S GOTTEN THAT LARGE IS CAUSE FOR CONCERN.

Could just be a bug bite. I have had bug bites that have had a spread out and raised bump. But just to be safe make a doctors appointment or go onto a symptom checker website such as webmd.

I got something like that but mine was a centipede and it got worse and then later i got sick bad, and i got red dots on my legs but i guess i was allergic?! . I hope it's not that though! Go to the doctor. or try to poke it with a needle squeeze out the thing and put ointment and alcohol.

Mite have been a tick. My tick bites are like that. I'm allergic to them. You will need to go to the doc to get meds.
