If you go in summer, bring skirts or shorts, one for each day, and one pair of jeans for the colder nights.
If you go in fall or spring, 2 pairs of jeans and some shorts or skirts.
In summer you will want 2 tops per day, but it can be short, open tops that will not take much space, and bring a few t-shirts.
If you are fair skinned, bring a long sleeved thin white shirt too, to keep the sun of your arms till you have tanned a bit.
In fall and spring you might not want 2 sets per day, one will do.
If you are going for more than 2 weeks bring enough for one week, (you will have a surplus anyhow) and do laundry.
In winter one set of tops, no shorts and 2 sweaters, and a light rain jacket or good windproof jacket.

And of course, swim wear, 2 sets at least, as they do not take much space in your case.
And a big size towel if you want to lay on it on the beach.

In short, put everything together you think you should bring, then put half away, as all people tend to pack too much.

I went to Spain mid April and it was fairly warm, so I'm assuming by summer the temperature should be just as fine. Really, typical summer clothing should be fine. Maybe nothing too revealing as you probably don't want dirty old men leering at you. (As with everywhere you go.) What part of Spain are you going to? Any region by the coast, especially the Basque country is bound to have nice weather by the time you get there. Hope the links help.
