why would my ex be contacting me now? We broke up a year ago and only talked here and then a couple times... I've been in a relationship with someone else for 9 months now and he contacts me today :( and wants me to come see him? I don't understand why! We never had sex so please don't say it's because of that ... I am sexually active with my current bf.. and we're getting engaged.. My ex knows of my bf so I don't know why he would contact me now after a year and expect me to come see him ... please give me some advice ???

Yes i told my bf about him contacting me and he's pretty upset about it... he's worried I might have feelings for him still but I don't. I didn't even give it a second's thought. I just wanted to know from a guys point of view why he would contact me after a year. that's all

Most likely he wants you back, you should stay away from him while dating the other guy.

This should be easy for you. If you are happy and secure in your current relationship then you need to stay home. Leave the past in the past. Get on with your life and your ex should do the same.

Call him first. I have had exes call me to tell me that one of our her family or a mutual friend was getting married, or passed away and just wanted to let me know. However only one wanted to see me. She wanted to go to the wedding with me. I always told my gf/wife about these calls, just to cover my behind. But I would surely call him before seeing him.

does your current bf know your ex contacted you??? if you're gonna go see him you need to make sure your bf knows all about it.. no point in hiding anything from him if y'all are gonna get engaged!!! i say talk to your bf, and see how he feels about it.. then take that into consideration... but also, think about how you feel towards your ex, and feelings for him whatsoever can change alot in your current relationship... just think about it!!! talk to your bf!!!!!!!!!

I agree that you should call him if you are afraid this might screw something up for you. There is really no telling...
So call him and ASK, and maybe don't agree to see him if he is not able to just say why he wants to see you
