This sounds just like a ? I just posted. It ought to get a lot of interesting answers. Personally I don't believe there is a 'hell' like we are taught. I feel that there probably is a place where some souls go after they die that is a sort of hell. It would be hell to these souls - and therefore God wouldn't 'be there' according to their perception - because they don't believe that God is present and they exist in a state of despair and hopelessness. Ultimately though in the end all souls will be rejoined with God. Our time away is all a journey back to the Creator.

This is what I believe regarding hell. When we cross over, we watch and feel our past life here. We feel the pain which we have caused, and the pain this has caused others, and so on, like ripples in water. Now, think of Hitler, of mass murderers, of mass rapists...etc. Now, there's some incredible, unspeakable pain. Which was completely avoidable. Can you really think of a worse hell? Also, it’s from God, so it has purpose. Not only does it teach, but it is custom made for each of us. It’s not just some mindless thrust of some sinner into the same hell over and over. If you believe in God, He has given us a simple rule to escape hell. Unconditional love for Our Creator, and for all others, including ourselves . If you don’t believe in God, then follow the rest. It’s that simple, and that hard. Give God His props. We need to stop listening to a flawed Bible, sucking it all down without discretion. Anyone who knows the Bible’s history should be aware that it’s been messed with over and over. Stop giving God human limitations!
Blessed Be

God is omniprresent, so there can only be a seeming absence of God, but in rreality, the notion of a seeming absence is of itself a lie.
A night dream seems real enough to the dreamer, and in like manner our mortal lives seem real enough to human belief, to the point where we would ask, "IF God is omniprresent..."
At length, we will understand Truth to be all substance and filling all space, but as of now this fact seems to be clouded by beliefs unknown to Truth.

That's a really good question. David said in one of the Psalms ...if I ascend to the highest points you (God) are there, or to the lowest depths you (God) are there.
But after the judgement and those who have not accepted Jesus as their Savior, I think God will withdraw His prescense from those people.

Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding!
Someone has asked one of the really good questions.
Sorry I don't have a real answer for you.
Well maybe I do.
I take it as proof there is NO hell.
There can't be because according to the "rules" as set forth in the bible it doesn't work or make sense.
(Unless of course, God's a masochist saying, "Oh yeah, inprison me in eternal hellfire good..." I'm thinking no to that as well..."

God created Hell, and the vengeful, hateful, murderous aspects of Him reside there.

Good question.
If anything, a typical answer would be that God is present (watching the torture for entertainment since he's a masochist) but his "LOVE" is what is absent.
