i am 13 years old, and before you say "your too young!" or anything like that, hear me out. I am 13 years old. I have an okay body but i could loose a couple pounds. I have a what some would call a pouch around my lower stomache. I really want to loose this before school starts in 2 weeks. I have tried excersizing and eating right. it doesnt seem to work. and i dont weigh enough to start diet pills. does anyone have any ideas. please and thank you.

13 is a good age to start thinking and being conscious of your looks- I suggest that to get rid of that 'ole little pouch'! by doing sit-ups
Lie flat with a support for your neck and do half sit ups lifting your upper body- do sets of 5 and about 20 sets but do it gradually , first day 5 sets and then increase. Also try to suck your tummy in when you stand be aware of it
You will be just perfect in 2 weeks Good Luck

What i do is drink a glass of water before eating any of your meals and that will make you feel fuller so you arent taking in as much calories as possible, and do alot of cardio like running riding your bike swimming etc..., and crunches as well as cardio will help alot too, and try doing four or five meals that are little, thats all i got

if you already lead a even somewhat active lifestyle, it's going to take that much more to loose the weight.


if you go from literally no activity, to doing an hour of cardio every day, you are going to melt fat away pretty fast.


if you already have even some activity in your day to day routine, it's going to be a little bit harder to loose "the pouch"

just keep doing what you are doing
it's not going to harm you in any way as long as you are dieting and exercising safely.

at 13, that little pouch is normal. As long as you eat right and exercise regularly, you will grow out of it. You need to be less concerned with how you look and a lot more concerned with who you are and who you want to be.

the sit ups that everyone is telling you to do will help some, but walking, running, or jogging will probably help more because it will burn the fat where as sit ups will make the muscles stronger. try a combo of both cardio and sit ups/crunches.

i hate to say this but the only way you can do that is to exercise and eat healthy, cut back on breads and salts....i would also do crunchers lots and lots of them, and different styles, like side, regular, etc....good luck!

Just keep eating healthy and do some exercise you will get their. At your age alot of girls have puppy fat it is normal just keep eating healthy and get excersing. sick in their.

you can't just do that for a few weeks and get immediate results. it takes time and effort.
