I've been dating this guy who is the lead singer of his band. on our first date he tried to get me to sleep with him and i wouldn't. when I came home i figured that was the end of it. he called me the next day and asked me if i wanted to be his girlfriend. i said yes. he told me that because i didn't give it up he wanted to be with me. I really love him but I hate the groupies that hang around him and his band. They are out only to “BANG” the band. They have no respect for me or the fact that we are together. i love him. Why is being with a rockstar so hard?

I have dated some musicians (even one who was somewhat famous) and I think it's because, honestly, very few male musicians are faithful. There is too much temptation for them, and life on the road is lonely.
If you really love this guy, I would say that you should try to make it work. But from experience I can say that dating a musician who tours is really hard because they are gone so often and you know that they are going to experience a lot of temptation. I would rather date just about anyone other than a musician, and that's because I hate to be left alone!

Well, what else can you do besides hanging out less when he's with the band and more in privacy?

are you sure he is really love you or just trifle with you?if he love you,he may put the band away while you're together,try to let him know you just want to be with him single

Well... It sounds like a trust problem to me... if u rly trust him you won't worry about it and you will know in ur heart that things that shouldn't be happening arent.
