I was just gonna ask the same thing. I have heard that you can no longer take anything liquid such as perfume and lotion and what not. However, I have also recently heard that they do let you travel with a small item of each.. A small lotion, samll perfume, ect... ahah.. For sure, no nail clippers, siccors, kniefs,,, any sharp items
I know you can take clothes. lol Soon they'll forbide that too.

allowable: anything that does not send or recieve a satelite signal (eg. Laptops [with internet off], MP3 Players, iPods, etc.)

not allowable: anything that sends or recieves a satelite signal (eg, cell phones, pagers, laptops with internet on), sharp objects such as razors, knives (obviously), etc.

allowable with restrictions: liquids such as water, juice, liquid medications, jels etc

I would suggest that prior to traveling that you visit the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of what is and is not allowed on the aircraft in both you checked luggage and your carry on luggage.
