You may rather consider asking yourself:
"What is the ultimate authority in my life?"
"What can I rely upon more confidently than any other thing?"
It appears many would answer this with "My own understanding", or "scientific experts", but I had a completely unexpected encounter with the Living God that totally changed my life; and a year after it happened, I found out it was in the Bible all the time. It is called being "born again". It is real, and it happened to me.
Therefore, I have learned to rely upon the authority of the Bible above every other authority, and after over 30 years I have never been put to shame for taking such position.
I am convinced it really is the Word of God.

The Bible is not the end of all knowledge since we have had many technological and scientific advances since the 1st and 2nd century. It is the final revelation from God to man, nothing more need to be said.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Pro 9:10 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

I would have to say that such a person would have to believe that they know more than there is to know.
There was a Atheist on YouTube like that. A real life know-it-all who called himself Hardcase ownsyou. Man, he knew everything, all there was to know. And any person or group that didn't think like he did was somehow effeminate and stupid.
So I would say that there are a lot of people who are not Christian who followed the same path. They think a lot of what they have come to accept, along with themselves.

OK atheists questions are beginning to look all the same, same insult different version of question. Now mind you I'm not the most religious person in the whole world, but people who believe in god have that right, same as you not to believe, and before you go saying they push their belief's , let me say this, your pushing yours right now. So don't throw stones in your pretty glass house.

The bible was written by men to control men. There is no god, never was, never will be.
