No I do not believe I get A raw deal.Catholic.

Life is an up and down cycle. I have had to go without dinner so I could buy formula for My oldest daughter when she was an infant. I have been in a horrible accident, had bills that were hopeless to pay, I have had my Identity stolen, lied to Cheated out of money. But I also have blessings which are the most important things to hang onto and nurture. I have two wonderful, healthy children. A strong, loving, working Husband. A living mother and father. Nice clothes in my closet and a full refigerator and pantry because I could go to the grocery store last night and afford to spend what I did.

Please understand, My husband and I work, no slave, pray cry, fight, through and for everything we have. No body owes us. And even though I know, one of my nieghbors is a jerk I wave when ever I see him. If my boss or my husbands boss has a bad day and takes it out on us we take it on the chin and suck it up. I'm not a millionaire, but I also know I don't need to be.

We all got a raw deal just being born. No matter what you are. The first sound we all make is a cry. We are not happy. What we do from there is out of own choice. Sure, environmental issues influence us but there is no one that absolutely "makes/forces" you to do anything. We all do what we do because that is what we choose to do. When it goes sour, we look for the most likley scapegoat we can find. We can not take responsibilty for ourselves and that makes me bonkers. Man up and be accountable already. If you don't like where you are, then change where you are going. Pretty simple really.

I think I did... I was born to a 30 year old abusive alcoholic psycho who beat me and abused me verbally, mentally, and physically from ages 6-16... I came into the foster system and let me tell you, foster kids are EVIL!!!! I got beat up and put down for standing up for myself and being unique and wasn't protected by the system put in place to do that exact thing.
Now I've graduated and life is still really hard, but I'm thankful for my friends, who are my only true "family".
I'm a spiritual agnostic, and while I think I got a bad deal, I know others have had it worse, so I'm thankful nonetheless, just a little spiteful when I see all the spoiled rich brats and their snobbish parents who don't even appriciate what they have.

Hello sweet cindy.. :)

No..though some may think I did..

I am a child of the Most High God.."Christian"

I was molested by my fathers best friend at the age of 8..I was again molested by my male babysitter at the age of 10..then again by a family member at the age of 11..I was beaten with a belt by a man who was dating my mom almost daily..

I started using drugs at the age of 18..I slept with over 100 men in 1 year, to supply my drug habit.. :(

I was a lousy mom to my oldest child.. :(

There are many other things that happened to me, but it would take too long to write them down.. :(

I now know the "Love" that I had always been looking for..His Name is Jesus.. :)

But looking back, I was either to ashamed to ask for help, or I just did not care if there was a god or not..

Now I see a chance, to help someone else and to share with them, that I know what they are going through..

And That there Is Someone who Cares and will pick us up when we are down..We only have to ask with a sincere and longing heart.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..your sister..In Christ.. :)

While there are some things we can't control, I think we make our own destiny, we make our own challenges, we pull in what we want to experience. If we want an excuse to be down on ourselves, I think we're likely to "pull" situations towards us that make us feel like we always have the worst luck, and allow us to wallow in negativity.

Like creates like, and sometimes people get so used to negativity they can't live life without it.

As for me, I've had some really bad luck, as I've had good, and always I look back and realized that to some extent I was making both happen. As I'm growing wiser and more mature, I'm learning how to control it better and not be a victim to my own self produced circumstances. My belief system? Pantheist... that is, everything in nature is an aspect of the divine, both good and evil.

Thank you for your loving compassion. I feel grateful for the life I have lived. Christians in my family were the source of problems when I was little. I have survived without subjugating myself to an eons old way of thinking and worship. Best of luck to you and may you know peace!

Oh, I have so many things in life to be grateful for that I constantly have to stop and pinch myself! I have worked hard and tried to keep a positive attitude. I think the more I am able to feel thankful and grateful for, the more my luck seems to improve.

I'm agnostic leaning heavily toward atheism. :)

I don't think I got a raw deal in life. Some parts have been heart-breaking, some parts really sucked, some parts were great. Every part has contributed to who I am.
I am a Christian.
