Oh, I hear myself alright. God required a blood sacrifice. There was and is none to deny him because he is God alone.
Look at it this way. You, a puny finite being, are demanding an explanation from the infinite God about what he wanted. His ways are not your ways and his thoughts are not your thoughts. They are as far away from his as the east is from the west. Your brain could never contain his wisdom.
You are ever learning, but never coming to a knowledge of truth. You are nervy, yes, but there is nothing you can do to back up what you require is there? All you can do is rant about it and try to shake the belief of others because you have no faith.
Now God, on the other hand, not only wanted what he wanted, but also was loving enough to supply it for us through Jesus! The blood of goats, sheep and heifers was not adequate because man could not keep the law; even of sacrifice. You want something done right, you do it yourself. Jesus came and did just that. Died an innocent to settle what God wanted for all time because he was the perfect sacrifice. God given, blameless, sinless.
You have no beef here. God required blood and he was generous enough to supply it himself. You are a dying man turning up your nose at salvation. Sounds as unrealistic as a starving man turning down food because he doesn't like the way it was prepared. Irrational and illogical; not to mention eternally deadly. Seek the Lord while he may be found!

well, Jesus was man and God...and Jesus was without sin, so God needed a being without sin to pay the ultimate price for those that have sinned(all mankind). as to why he felt he needed animals for sacrifice in the old testament is beyond my knowlege...but aparently blood pays the price for sin and thats just how it works....we are not meant to know All the answers. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." [Isaiah 29:14]

Not after JESUS died on the cross. He is the symbol of the lamb, which is pure. GOD'S own SON. After he was sacrificed for your sins no more 'Blood sacrifices' were required as long as you believe JESUS was his SON. In the Bible it quotes the "Lamb' as a sacrifice. The "Lamb was as foretold by the Prophets "THE SON OF GOD"and what would happen to him

We were tolled the "wages of sin is death" Jesus had to die to pay for our sins. They didn't need to stab him and make all he's blood run out, no, but he did need to die for us, he doesn't demand blood sacrifices, in terms of needing lots of blood to satisfy some sort of blood lust. He needed someone to take the punishment that must be delt to anyone sinning. That used to be a perfect lamb, but thanks to Jesus, we no longer need to sacrifice.

Yes, you are very clever. Now have a cookie and let the grownups talk.
If you can't be civilized, at least try to be witty.
