I have 2003 GT Mustang Kenne Bell Supercharer 4.6 4 spd automatic. At 50 mph roll in Overdrive should I take it out of overdrive to race at that speed?

I race another mustang and and wasnt in overdrive @ 120 mph and was no where near the red line.

Yes!!! Overdrive is a weak link in any automatic overdrive tranny, if you intend on doing ANY racing at all, please remember to NOT leave it in overdrive, becouse if you do, rolling or off the line, you'll be calling a wrecker to come get your car, becouse it sh!t out your tranny at the starting line!

Since it is an auto transmission, it should kick itself out of overdrive when you hit the gas. If it doesn't, then turn it off. Way too much power to be throwing the juice to it in overdrive. Look at the tach, you can go all the way up to the redline before you have to hit the next gear. good luck.

Usually till redline (If no top speed removal, factory kill limit of about 110mph if I remember with the engine right or near redline)

Leave it out of OD. I would shift it into OD @ about 5200rpm.
