well, that depends on your definition of "normal". If you stuff your face with food, don't exercise enough, then yes, I'd say it was pretty normal to gain that much weight. But, it is also unhealthy.

Unless it's muscle, no. Technically, it is not healthy for a human being (male or female) to put on 20lbs during their entire adulthood! I suggest looking at your diet and making some changes. Also, since your metabolism is slowing, I would start going to a gym and working out regularly. Good luck!

I would assume that your level of activity is slowing down. So to answer you, yes. Yes its normal, but the greater question is why. Sometimes medications can cause that. Working 2nd or a 3rd shift at a job.
So walk more and use the car less. Play basketball, and you don't have to be good at it either.
The level of activity that you personally know (experience), therein lies your answer.

No. 35 is around the time that metabolism starts to slow down....to avoid weight gain, bump up the cardio and build muscle through strength training.

As u get older u start to put on more weight. This would be the time to start watching what u eat and eat smaller meals. It is just part of life.
