It's my dogs 1 st b-day and I'm buying a cake for dogs for her but I also want to make a b-day cake for my hubby's cat aswell...to be fair because he doesn't celebrate her b-day. I know this may sound weird but does anyone have a cake recipe that's edible for cats??? Thanks!!!

I'm not specifically thinking a sweet cake I'm talking like any good combo of ingredients I could make a "cake" for our cat.

I'd make a shredded turkey cake and decorate it with real bacon with the cats name and age. Take a small dish like soufflé's are made from and put in the bacon pieces to spell the cat's name (in reverse) and age on the bottom. Then, shred the turkey and smash it into the "mold". Put it in the fridge to set and then take it out and let it sit for about an hour and turn it upside down and tap the bottom to eject the cat cake. Place the cake on a dish and garnish with bite size pieces of shrimp for color, character, flavor and you have a feline delicacy!

I think it is cute what you are going to do with your cat. I could not find anything about a birthday cakes for cats. The other people wrote about tuna. Tuna is not good for cats.

Get a tin of tuna, turn it / flip it out onto a plate so it's like a mini cake. Decorate it, like the edge of it, with pieces of dry cat food. Put a candle in it for fun. :P

So why don't you just get a can of cat food and put like a thin layer of cream cheese on it like frosting.
I don't think the cat will eat anything that is like a cake but you sure could make a realistic looking one like this - that she would eat.

There's no need to make a cake for your cat, just give her extra cat food to splurge on.
