Apple Mac Question
I recently installed Aperture and all went well until I tried to open the program
its telling me my system does not meet the software requirements its version 15.1
and I have a new Mac pro with two duel 2.6 processor, 1.5 terabyte and 4 gig ram
so doubt its to slow or not big enough
Can any one help

well you more than meet the requirements, maybe you have over met them and it doesnt recognise the spec you have so it throws up the only error it thinks it could be? if you understand me? thats the only thing i can think of. Altho its a mac so it shouldnt do

No, I can't help. I have never met a situation where an Apple application will install but say the requirements are not met. Did you install the application or just copy it from another drive or another computer? Typically, the installer will not even run if the requirements are not there. But here are the requirements given by Apple:

* One of the following Macintosh computers:
o Mac Pro
o Power Mac G5 with a 1.6-gigahertz (GHz) or faster PowerPC G5 processor
o MacBook Pro
o MacBook
o 15- or 17-inch PowerBook G4 with a 1.25GHz or faster PowerPC G4 processor
o iMac with 1.8GHz or faster PowerPC G5 or Intel Core Duo processor
o Mac mini with Intel Core Solo or Duo processor
* Mac OS X version 10.4.8 or later
* Memory:
o 1GB of RAM required
o 2GB of RAM required for Mac Pro
* One of the following graphics cards:
o ATI Radeon X600 Pro or X600 XT
o ATI Radeon X800 XT Mac Edition*
o ATI Radeon X850 XT

The only thing you didn't mention is the video card. If your MacPro is new, it must have one of the supported video cards.
Since your computer is new, you have free support from Apple so give them a call.
