walking pnemonia - I've been there. Get to a doc and ask him about bronchial infections, walking pnemonia or combinations. He'll hopefully give you a pack of pills called zithropac. It knocked mine right out.

Definately sick. You have a bug (a cold or a flu, which is a virus and causes viral infections) and this bug or is giving you the sore throat, fever, fatigue, and stuffy nose. Because of all this your body's immune system is working overtime and can't keep up, the bug wins and starts infecting your lungs, giving you the thick, green mucus (yuk!). Coughing will cause pain because your lungs are packed with fluids that normaly aren't there. Sounds like a nasty bug. Bad cold or flu One of the reasons we lose against these things and get infections is because we don't get enough rest. Rest is the best thing for a cold/flu. Your body needs to not have to think, walk, do anything, so it can focus all it's energy to its immune system to fight. Resting allows this. Also, go to the doctor's and maybe he'll give you anyibiotics for the chest infection, maybe not. Doctors are affraid these days to give us these because more and more people are becoming immune to the antibiotics. They don't work alot of the time because our bodies get used to them. That happens when we don't finish our prescriptions, the infection isn't completely killed. Then the infection because it's still alive, mutates and becomes immune to the antibiotic for life. So the next time the doctor has to give you something much stronger. So from here on out, FINISH YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS OF ANTI BIOTICS!!! And remember, this is very important -- Antibiotics don't kill viruses, they only kill the INFECTION the virus causes. So don't ask your Doc for antibiotics when you have a simple cold, he won't give them to you. But the green mucus, the pain in your chest - DEFINATELY an infection. Get it taken care of because if you don't, you could end up getting pneumonia, which is when there is way, way too much fluids in your lungs, causing you to be short of breath because the lungs have no more room to take in air. It causes death from suffocation in the worst cases. Too much mucus or fluids, no air, equals death from suffocation. Remember that. If you smoke, STOP NOW.........Good luck

Influenza, potential Pnumonia
Though the only way to truely identify it would be to get a check in a doctors office. There are some physical tell tell signs.
Start drinking water. LOTS of it. Any infection can and will cause dehydration. Your body needs to stay hydrated to fight the infection.
And see a doctor to get antibiotics. If you do have pnumonia it is potentially dangerous.

Sounds like bronchities or another form of upper respiratory infection. Only antibiotics will clear that up. Get to your MD before it gets worse.... because it can get REALLY bad, and spread into your sinuses, which will make it twice as terrible.

See a doctor. This is only going to get worse if you don't.
Here's some possibilities (although it sounds like you may have more than one thing going on):
pneumonia, strep throat, bronchitis, pleurisy, infection in the epiglottis.
Go to your doctor!!!

I had symptoms like that a while ago. It sounds like either bronchitis or a type of pneumonia. Either way, you should get it checked out by a doctor.

I think you have a an upper respiratory infection and sinusitis to boot. Get some Nyquil so you can sleep and get Dayquil so you can function during the day. Check to see if you have a fever which would make you go see a Dr.

You have a terrible cold. Not sure if it is pneumonia though. Have warm water instead of regular water and you should get some relief. Try having garlic tea. Use vicks for cold.

Sounds like some kind of bacterial respiratory infection. Bronchitis, maybe? Go to your doc, you probably need antibiotics.

sounds like a cold to me, pnuemonia would involve a high fever, not a low grade fever.
Get lots of rest, drink plenty of liquids, use Zicam nasal swabs. This too will pass.
