1) Run like hell, why are they spraying a virus around?
2) Stay away from the Nile River, specifically the west side.
3) Call your local government/ doctor/ mom and ask them?
Seriously your question is vague. I assume you are talking about spraying pesticides or other products to attempt to kill the mosquito population to prevent the spread of the West Nile Virus. If so it all depends on the product used and your health.
I would call whomever is spraying ask them what products will be used. Ask them to spell it out and you write it down. Ask them what you should do to prepare. Then call your doctor and ask them if they agree with what you have been told. Then go online and research the products MSDS sheet and read the part about personal protection while around the product.

"Nothing" the county here has been spraying for 12 years now, the City I come from in Minnesota sprayed since 1947 and is still going at it. The people enjoy mosquito free nights, no worry about West Nile or EEE.
The usual spray used in Malathion. You can take bath in it and not be harmed. A doctor told me you have to drink a quart of the stuff and you'd get sick from drinking it, not the liquid.
There has not been one single person that has came under any problems from this spray since 1947.

Your suppose to leave your windows and doors closed for the night after they spray. Also, I wouldn't advise being outside in your yard the next day. They sprayed for it in my town three weeks ago.
