Please, I need help with this?! Anyone know where I can find detailed info. about locating a church in VA?

Question

I am looking for a church in or near the area of Alexandria, VA 22309, that has Saturday services. I am new to this area, and really am having a hard time finding one. (I was mostly born and raised in WI.) I need your help!

Any suggestions to resources/websites that will help me with my search?

Sarahbeth, I understand and had thought about doing that. So, I decided to let people know. I believe in the Christian faith, by believing in the Bible (God's word), and faith in Jesus Christ, as LORD and Savior ..as Truth. I am a "born-again" Christian, looking for a universal or non-denominational church, who believes in the Bible,, thru faith in Jesus Christ, as LORD and Savior, thru the gift of the Holy Spirit.. . .a church who will allow me to worship God, in truth and in spirit (and not force me to go thru their own religious rituals or customs) I do not label myself a Catholic, Ladder-Day Saints, or Protestant, etc. I strictly believe and live by the Bible, God's word, thru faith in Jesus Christ, as LORD and Savior .using God's gift of the Holy Spirit to guide me in all truth. I choose not to belong to a religious group by labeling myself as such. Does this help?

I googled "Bible Church Alexandria, VA 22309" . You might have do some calling on your end since everyone seeking Christ should find a compatible and like minded church that they feel comfortable and welcomed in.

Hi Angela,

Try www.uschurch.com (i was actually trying to find a Calvary Chapel for you) but i'm not too familiar with VA so not sure if there is one close to you- but that would be a great church that teaches the Bible and i know they have services throughout the week - so they would likely have a Saturday night service.

Glad to see you're looking for a new church. (BTW I'm from Wisconsin. 80) )

Anyway, it would be helpful if we knew what denomination. Edit your question with some denominations your interested in. That makes the search a lot easier. Otherwise, there are at least 100 churches in the vicinity whose websites I'd have to check out to find what you're looking for. It's not that I don't want to help. Some guidance would be helpful though.

The only ones I know that go to church on Saturday are the LDS, Latter Day Saints. Should be easy to find them in a phone directory under churches.
