It's talked about more in the rest of the world. The denier movement is not as effective there as it is in the US, either. Check this out:

I live in Sweden and global warming is a big issue and talked about a lot here. From what I can see here on Yahoo Answers I think the DEBATE about global warming is much more intense in U.S.A though.
In Sweden and most other countries the debate is over. Now we are just concentrating and debating what to do about this problem.
B t w this is a part of the speech from the Indian Prime Minister on the celebration of their 60th anniversary of their independence. Obviously he cares a lot about global warming.
"In protecting our environment let us recall Gandhiji's wise words that nature has given us enough for everyone's need, but not for everyone's greed. The Himalayas are part of our inheritance. Many of our rivers flow from them. We must protect our glaciers; we must keep our rivers clean and must increase our forest cover. Every citizen must ensure that our wildlife, especially endangered species like tigers, lions and elephants are preserved for the benefit of future generations. Keeping India green and clean should be a national and an individual obsession.
Each one of us must be aware of how what we do impacts on nature and our climate. People across the world are increasingly concerned about global warming. And so must we be. We must be economical in our consumption of fuels and energy. This we owe humanity and to posterity.
The land from which the message first went out that the whole world is one family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) must set an example for the rest of the world in finding collective solutions to global problems."

It's talked about in the modernized countries like the US, Canada, UK, Japan, etc. Developing countries don't care that much because they are too busy with their own problems but they mostly don't pollute much. The real problem is China, who produce enormous amounts of pollution and don't talk about protecting the environment at all. I think that global warming is argued about the most in the US though.

Global warming is talked about the least in the USA. This country is about big business and purging natural resources. Don't forget, we were one of the few countries that thumbed our nose at the Kyoto Summit.
Per capita, USA is one of the biggest polluters in the world.

The U.S. is the only place where the peculiar technique of denying the science is popular. No government is doing anything effective about it, though, talk or not.

I know it's big in Japan. I talk to Japanese people on xbox live, and they tend to mention "green" quite a lot.
Also Hybrids sell better over there than they do here.
