Why not have them make their own craft (according to the theme of the party) to keep as their favor?

Or buy plain white t shirts and fabric paints. An activity at the party could be everyone decorating their own shirt. Maybe they could all autograph each other shirts. Girls that age would love the idea. What a great memory that would be!

Or purchase iron on transfer printing paper and print out the party invitation, details, or something related to the party's theme. Iron on to fabric bags (and then stuff) or iron on to tshirts, pillow cases, ball caps, etc. and give those as gifts.

For girls that age hair accessories, lip glosses, stationary, pens, etc make excellent bag stuffers.

Have a great party!!!

MY friend gave me a good tip. As a filler, place a bag of chips or cookies and fruit snacks in the goody bag. It takes up alot of space. You won't much more than that.

you could also have the kids make a sand art project and that will be part of there goody bag. Cheap project. Get the supplied from AC Moore.

i usually make a party basket. pick a basket, then pick some flowers or wrapping paper to lay in it. use pillow batting to make it full on the bottom then lay you paper or wrap flowers around the basket, then pick out little items to fill the basket with. if your color is red, get a candy in a red wrapper, a red pair of gloves for winter coming, a red hat, a pink jug of bubbles, a red/pink picture frame a red envelope for $ and a card, just fill with lots of little items which are functional...they will remember lokking through the pretty basket and picking out lots of little things...my baskets are usually in the 30$ range and quite full.
